Case Assembly and Water-cooling

With the paint dry on the chassis it was time to put it all back together. I used some black pop rivets which complimented the case instead of using standard silver rivets.

I had to refer to my previous video to check which way round the hard drive cage went (another benefit of using video) but all in all it was fairly straight-forward to reassemble the case. With the majority of the case now back together, I could start planning the interior.

After drawing the plans in SketchUp I sent them to a friend who has a laser cutter. His machine is normally used to cut thick steel, so it was hardly trying for it to slice through some 3mm perspex.

Using my pillar drill, I bored out some holes for the barbs and then tapped them. I tried using the tapping tool on a few scrap pieces of perspex to make sure I got them tapped straight - I didn't want crooked barbs.
